Inside the Regionality of Proxtrend
The proxtrend.com website is available in a large number of languages (English, Spanish, Japanese, Arabic, Hindi, and others) clearly indicating the broker’s focus on an international audience. Meanwhile, the contact information includes a phone number with a Japanese area code and a single email address, which in itself seems unusual for a company claiming a global presence.
As for regulation, Proxtrend does not hold licenses in any of the jurisdictions where it appears to operate, judging by the languages available on its website. There is no evidence of authorization in Europe, Asia, or other major regulated markets. The only license the broker refers to is an offshore registration in Mwali, which does not provide regulatory coverage in those regions. Why this offshore license raises concerns and what issues are associated with it will be examined in more detail below.
Trading Conditions Explained
The broker offers four account types: Basic, Gold, Platinum, and VIP, that differ in minimum deposits, spread levels, and additional privileges. The entry threshold starts at $250. This theoretically makes the platform accessible to beginner traders, but the conditions improve only slightly as the deposit increases.
Spreads are advertised as floating. However, they decrease as you upgrade to more expensive accounts. For example, for the EUR/USD pair, they decrease from 3.0 pips on the Basic account to 1.6 pips on the VIP account. A similar pattern applies to other instruments, including GBP/USD, USD/JPY, and oil. However, even with the higher plans, spreads remain above the average market values for regulated brokers, especially considering the deposit sizes required to qualify.
As for withdrawals, the conditions directly depend on the account type. Here, too, the available free withdrawals range from one to several per month, while VIP accounts claim to be completely commission-free. However, the exact fees charged beyond the free limits are not specified, nor are the processing times for applications disclosed, which is critical information for traders.
Checking Compliance with Legitimate Rules
When it comes to regulation, Proxtrend claims to be licensed in Mwali, and formally, a corresponding legal entity can indeed be found in the registry. However, the key problem is that the link in the regulator’s official registration does not point to proxtrend.com, but to a different website — proxtrendltd.com. The broker has no convincing evidence that both domains belong to the same company. For now, the connection between the trading platform and the licensed legal entity remains unconfirmed.
How Long Has Proxtrend Really Been Around?
In reality, Proxtrend is a relatively new broker. According to Whois data, its domain was registered on January 30, 2024. The company’s license was issued on March 22, 2024 (assuming that the referenced document actually belongs to this broker and is directly related to its trading platform). Based on these dates, it is clear that this intermediary only started operating in 2024. From a trading experience perspective, this is a rather short track record. So, it is difficult to assess the reliability and stability of the platform over time.
Platform and Support Overview
Proxtrend does not offer traders any real choice when it comes to trading platforms. The broker provides access only to a web-based trader, which runs directly in the browser. There are no desktop versions for Windows or macOS, and no mobile apps for iOS or Android. This already puts the platform at a disadvantage compared to most established brokers.
The web trader itself looks fairly standard and functional at first glance. It includes basic charting, a list of available instruments, order placement buttons, and position management tools. However, it is clearly a simplified solution, but not a full-fledged professional platform. Advanced features, custom indicators, algorithmic trading, strategy testing, or deep market analysis tools are not evident. For beginners, this interface may seem sufficient, but more experienced traders are likely to find it limited and inconvenient for serious trading.
Customer support is another area where transparency is lacking. The broker lists a phone number and an email address as contact options, but provides no information about support hours, expected response times, or service availability. A live chat is available on the website, however, it appears to be divided into English, Japanese, and Korean departments. As you can see, only one of these options is actually accessible, while the others are not responsive. In addition, the website does not provide any information about these departments’ working hours. This is particularly noteworthy given that the website is translated into many languages.
Online Reputation: What We Found
Unfortunately, Proxtrend’s online reputation is largely negative. If we look at platforms such as Trustpilot, the most recent reviews paint a rather troubling picture. Users repeatedly describe a familiar pattern. Initial trust built through a professional-looking website and calm, seemingly competent account managers, followed by steadily increasing deposits and, eventually, serious problems when attempting to withdraw funds.
Conclusion: Risks and Reliability of Proxtrend
Summing up all of the above, Proxtrend can hardly be described as a solid broker. From an investment perspective, the broker does not appear particularly attractive either. Trading conditions raise questions, and key details that matter to traders are either poorly disclosed. Most importantly, numerous negative proxtrend.com reviews point to serious issues with withdrawals and client treatment. Under such circumstances, cooperating with this broker involves elevated risks, and opening or funding an account with this company cannot be recommended.

I want to share my negative experience with Proxtrend to warn others.
I discovered the platform through an Instagram post that looked trustworthy and decided to register on August 1, 2025.
My assigned senior account manager spoke politely and confidently, quickly gaining my trust. During our conversations, he persuaded me to invest increasingly larger sums, promising unrealistically high returns in a very short time and assuring me that my money was safe and fully under my name.
When I tried to withdraw funds, even small amounts, I repeatedly faced restrictions. Withdrawals required manager approval, were capped at very low limits, and were constantly delayed. Eventually, I decided to stop working with Proxtrend and requested the return of at least my initial capital. That never happened.
Instead, I was told that I needed to pay more money or provide bank statements showing significant readily available funds before any transfer could be processed. At that stage, I checked independent sources and found numerous warnings describing Proxtrend as a scam, with unclear ownership and location.
I contacted customer support with a detailed explanation, but months later I still haven’t received any response or a single cent back.
