Inside the Offshore Registration of Algobi
The broker claims to operate from the offshore jurisdiction of Saint Lucia, and that the project’s management company is a certain DXA SEYCHELLES LIMITED. The data in this registry is public, so it’s easy to verify. We confirmed that a legal entity with this name is indeed registered and holds a license issued by the Seychelles regulator, the FSA.
However, it’s important to understand one nuance: the Seychelles FSA is hardly a reputable financial market regulator. Requirements for brokerage firms are virtually nonexistent. What is certain is that there are minimum capital requirements. Furthermore, licensing procedures are definitely simpler here, and oversight of companies’ activities is, of course, weak.
Trading Conditions Explained
Algobi offers three types of trading accounts. Silver is presented as the entry-level plan for beginner traders. It has some basic trading parameters, spreads, and commissions, but these aren’t specifically described. It also offers leverage of up to 1:200, a 5% stop-out level, and a minimum trade size of 0.01 lots.
The Gold account offers slightly more favorable terms. Specifically, traders are promised a 40% swap discount compared to the Silver plan, as well as a 50% spread discount compared to the Basic account. However, the key trading parameters remain the same: maximum leverage of up to 1:200, a 5% stop-out level, and a minimum trade size of 0.01 lots.
The most premium plan is arguably Platinum, offering swap discounts of up to 60% and spread discounts of up to 75% compared to the Silver plan. Other parameters, including leverage up to 1:200, a 5% stop-out, and a minimum trade size of 0.01 lots, also remain unchanged.
Overall, the description of trading conditions appears rather sparse. It would be better if this table provided specific spread values, commissions, swaps, and other important trading parameters in numerical terms.
Checking Compliance with Legitimate Rules
In fact, offshore registration itself doesn’t necessarily imply strict adherence to any serious requirements. As we’ve already mentioned, the Seychelles generally have minimal regulations for brokerage firms.
However, another point should be considered. Trading CFDs raises regulatory concerns in many countries. In some jurisdictions, such instruments are strictly regulated, and in others, their promotion to retail investors is prohibited. Therefore, brokers working with CFDs often choose offshore regions for registration.
How Long Has Algobi Really Been Around?
Although this project’s domain was registered back in 2017, this doesn’t necessarily mean the broker has been operating in the market for that long. A check through Web Archive reveals a completely different picture. According to saved versions of the website, Algobi only began active operations in 2025. Previously, the domain was empty.
A similar situation can be seen when analyzing algobi.com reviews. The first user comments began appearing around the same time, around 2025. There are virtually no earlier mentions of the company’s operations online.
Platform and Support Overview
The broker offers its clients trading through the TradingView platform. This is a well-known solution used almost universally. The platform offers user-friendly price charts and a basic set of technical indicators and oscillators. However, it’s worth noting that it’s only available in web format. This means it can be used directly from a browser without installing additional software, though a mobile app would certainly be more convenient.
The customer support service on this platform is also well-organized. The company provides an email address and 23 phone numbers for contact from various countries. A contact form is also available on the website, allowing users to submit inquiries directly to the broker’s representatives.
Online Reputation: What We Found
Opinions about Algobi online appear quite mixed. For example, on the Trustpilot platform, you can see a rather revealing balance of reviews. We noticed that approximately 57% of comments are negative. However, users aren’t complaining about abstract issues, but rather about very specific problems, primarily difficulties with withdrawals.
Conclusion: Risks and Reliability of Algobi
Overall, it’s difficult to call Algobi a top-tier broker. The conditions appear quite ordinary, and some key trading information remains hidden. Furthermore, the project has been operating for a relatively short time, and an offshore license is not a significant indicator of reliability. Therefore, traders should exercise caution when choosing this platform.

My story ended with me never seeing my money again
I’ve written about this on other platforms before, but I’ll repeat it here. Withdrawing funds from this broker turned out to be a real nightmare. I fell for the promises of reliability, a convenient platform, and an international level. I deposited $1,000 and started trading, and almost immediately I realized something was wrong. The charts seemed to have a life of their own. There were moments when quotes moved strangely, and stop-losses were triggered suspiciously precisely, as if someone knew them in advance. It felt like the market was being manipulated against me. On top of that, commissions and spreads were disappointing. I mean, you’re not losing on your strategy, but the balance still dwindles.
Also, my request has been pending for over a month, with the status in process. Support gives no concrete answers. Out of my $1,000 deposit, I now have about $700 left, $300 was lost during trading, even though I risked no more than 1% per trade. And now I simply cannot retrieve the remaining funds. So I warn you, withdrawing money here is extremely unreliable.

I didn't notice any advantages
I don’t think starting to trade with such an offshore setup is a good idea. The company is based in an offshore jurisdiction, with no guarantees. From the reviews, it’s clear that this is just a scam operation, where people are easily scammed. If there are any positive comments, they are purely fake and made to promote this scam, nothing more. The conclusion is obvious. It’s not worth it!
